Two new parents crossing an ocean with a baby and a Hydrovane? Well, not quite. Having not actually done any sailing with little Rocket we thought it wise to have a bit of extra help for the first 2,700 miles in the long stretch from Banderas Bay to the Marquesas.
Enter Gill, who we met when sailing up the coast of Costa Rica. She’s done this passage twice before, once from Mexico and once from Panama plus she’s an ex neo natal nurse which means that she’s pretty useful to us on board!
As well as being a great hit with our girl she also insists upon us taking naps so I think this is going to work out pretty well for us.
