The time has come. We have been in Bocas for 5 months now, had 4 sets of family and friends to visit, trashed and subsequently replaced our mainsail, done a full engine service, cleaned our keel and prop and even hosted a toddler. We’ve made amazing friends and had a thriving social scene here.
But the seasons have changed, the time has come for us to push on. We are headed towards the San Blas islands (also called the Kuna Yala). We’re going with our best Bocas buddies, Laurie and Damon from the boat ‘Mother Jones’ (http://www.somanybeaches.com/).
We plan to hop eastwards in a leisurely way, making stops in Bluefields, Escudo de Veraguas, the Rio Chagres, Portobello, Isla Linton and Isla Grande before entering the San Blas.
There may be little opportunity to get online and make contact so please be patient with us.
