Ish, our Texan stowaway, left us yesterday but I thought I should add a note in her honour as, thanks to her shutterbug tendancies, we have a whole stack of fantastic photos on the surroundings page. I am still without my little camera thanks to that charming incident in Cuba so it’s great to have all these photos of our shenanigans in Bocas del Toro so far.
Our 2 weeks with my parents and 3 weeks with Ish forced us to have some proper holiday which I think we were both well in need of. We’re still in Bocas and now back in Carenero Marina for a month to tackle some of the big jobs that need doing. Thanks to our enforced vacationing with our visitors we’re able to approach all these things with new energy which is just as well as keeping your boat tip-top in Panama during rainy season (all that humidity and rain) is a constant battle.
Now all we need is our new mainsail…
