Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic it has been a loooooooong time since we’ve been back in our native UK. It’s hard on the kids not seeing their cousins and grandparents as we normally do a trip back every two years or so. So, with our floating home safely bobbing on her mooring in Singapore, we decided to come back for 3 months, give our London flat a fresh coat of paint and do a mini UK tour, seeing friends and family in Wales, Cornwall and the Midlands.

Once we return to the tropics at the end of October it’ll be all go to sail up to Malaysia to haul out and re-rig and then sail south and east, the first time we ever turn our bow eastwards, in order to head for Darwin Australia and then on to the Torres Strait and beyond to Brisbane and Sydney. It’s been far too long since we had Pacific Ocean under our keel!
