Wait, what?
Let me explain…
There is the calendar year, January to December.
There is the financial or tax year, April to March.
And then there is the boat year.
The boat year just applies to our boat and when we moved on board and started taking accounts and making records of all our spending etc. We also left the UK for good a shortly after our boat year started so it marks the time of us living full-time on board.
This has been a tricky year for many obvious reasons so it’s good to seek out the causes for celebration where and when you can.
Also, it gives me a chance to dig out this old image of the day we set sail. Ahhhhh, so young!
